Here is mine - a Mondial model 1952. It is 32" long, weighs 2.6 pounds, has a brass lined steel barrel. I shoots well, but for a child's gun it is hard to cock and has a heavy trigger. Of course, that might change if I disassembled and tuned it.

It shoots .177 pellets. For some reason the Italian arms company have not gotten into the airgun market even though it is now growing very quickly,.

In the modern ( Still available ) world ... HW30 for a quality small springer is top of the heap IMO

My newly totally rebuilt Winchester 425 .22 Brought back from the graveyard for $15 and a few hours of needed attention. Easy cocking. Accurate low power rifle that reminds me of my youth.

Definitely a tune sand and refinishing. A few hours time and you'll turn it into something you will shoot and enjoy for many more years. Wish is was mine.

It also needs removal of a few rust spots. This gun probably has a very simple trigger so I doubt that even a full tune will make it child acceptable.

Don't laugh my one & only springer I got from my welding partner when he retired . He used it to shoot the ground squirrels when they entered the shop . Crosman 120 361/2" long orig. but I added to the stock so now 39" . I refinished the stock it's like new & is pretty accurate
177 cal.

Now that’s small! I went and grabbed what I thought were small springers and they’re 36”!
