My .22 n .25 uragan even power tuned both in the 960fps..almost mouse fart quiet with a donny fx moderator..

Damn near ANY pcp set up with a Low dwell cycle of valve can be VERY quite .... Wasted air is what makes excessive noise !!!

Stock 22 M-rod, not tuned, original factory settings. Factory shrouded barrel. Quietest air rifle I own.

DAYSTATE electo guns ... Mk3 or Mk4, Airwolf or Redwolf with an Allen Zasadny ( AZ ) full shroud .... TINK is about all you hear.

I use an inexpensive sound meter to measure my guns and to try out different shroud changes and moderators. All my 5 guns are in the low to mid 80 db range at 1 meter to the side and a foot or so in front of the muzzle. My 3 P35s just needed a hair curler and a half plus 3 of their stock baffles to get there. My 19 fpe 177 is about 82db. My low 30 fpe 22 and 25 are both around 85 db. My Prod may actually be a little below 80 db with it's cheap plastic moderator that also seems to help accuracy. I've messed with my low 40 fpe Avenger the most. I got to about 85 db with a Tanto but I also got there with a in shroud moderator + holes in the back of the shroud.
Pellets hitting a paper target are also around 85 db.

My Weihrauch HW 100 Bullpup with the Weihrauch moderator. I replaced the felt on the curlers with thin cork from Hobby Lobby and using the IOS Decibel app achieve 82 db with the weapon shooting CPHP at 967 fps. I replaced the felt in my other LDCs with cork and they all dropped about 8 to 10 db.

My quietest. 25 would be my Daystate Huntsman with a Huggett Snipe.
Ideally, to have optimum suppression, a shrouded barrel, and moderate with enough volume to capture the blast and force it back into the shroud will produce the best results.

BSA R10 in .22. 26 ft lbs. Allen Z. full length shroud on a chopped barrel.

22 would be my RedWolf on a lower power after tuning it for the 16 grain pellets. Just a simple poof and then the noise of the pellet hitting my target.
25 would have to be the Theoben Rapid Mk2. After both AllenZ and Martin went through the gun she really is mouse fart quiet. While still putting out a respectable amount of power.

Mine would be my liberty.22 that is putting out around 50 fpe with the full Duy treatment. I installed a buckrail screw on ldc on the end of the shroud with 2 small holes drilled in the shroud near the receiver. Mouse fart quite. The ldc is the same one for the avenger.
