Or I am wrong?
Couple years ago I got one Chinese QB79 (or something like that) wanted to build a franken rifle....this was my 2 or 3 winters long project, but I made it PCP and it was shooting amazing acuracy and efficiency up to 50.
The problem was with that 11 mm dovetail rail that ones I mounted a brand new 10-40x50 scope, the + and a laser bore sight dot projected @ 20 were apart about 2". OK, I forced the scope turrets to get that dot.
Then earlier this year I got the FX Impact, mounted that scope to the picatinny rail, I had to twist the rail max to L because of the 2" offset again.
Then I got a new scope 10-50x60 and mounted straight to that same twisted rail, and the + was bang on with the laser boresight. And also on that same rail
Then now last week I got a new P750, added a picatinny to 11mm adapter and mounted each, a Sig red dot, the old scope, the new scope, all the + is offset about the same 2" vs laser bore sight.
Do I have just a bad luck having a bunch of rails and scopes and looks like the machining all the holes (a dovetail, the picatinny and now again a dovetail) were off about the same amount and all to the L? or I am just a bit overthinking ;(
Edit:
btw, my scope rings were not cheap, and the couple picatinny I have these are at least UTG and better, also all the scopes cost a decent pile of greenies...and don't say anything about Impact (plus the addons and upgrades)....this game is a real money pit
