I walked into the gun closet yesterday and saw this on the floor. I’ll be gal-dangged if I know what it is. 
Anyone have a clue.

Without knowing your gun, we wont know what that thing is. Looks to be some kind of regulator. Also regulator just don't fall out from a gun.

It’s a solid brass piece, right? If so, I’d say it’s a check valve from something.

Judging by the fact that it fell onto the floor, I'd suggest it's an external piece. Maybe a cocking knob of some sort? 

Dunno dude. Any of your guns not working? That would be a clue!

We need to see what is going on there. Like is it threaded and such.

I've never really seen this part before. Maybe it was planted by evil Gremlins just to mess with me. The same Gremlins that hide things that have been sitting in the same place for a year but the moment I need it.......gone. haha

It does look like a custom Crosman bolt handle as a guess....

Here’s the top. Someone wanted to see it. 
The Crosman handle is thinner and has a ball end. 
I guess eventually I’ll figure it out.

Maybe out of a pump or compressor? Or not airgun related at all. The second pic on the first post leads me to believe it’s decorative.
