What is the most accurate ammo for the Hatsan Bullboss .177?

Greetings. I'm new today to this forum. I tried a search, but couldn't find an answer to this inquiry.

This is my first PCP rifle. What I'm curious about is finding the most accurate ammo for my Hatsan Bullboss .177. I don't care about impact power, but just what is the most accurate. This gun is just for target fun, with the grandkids, and killing destructive tiny ground squirrels on my acreage.

Try the JSB Exact Monster .177 13.4gn Cylindrical. Hatsans' like heavy pellets.

only way to find the answer to your question is to try as many different pellets as you can.

no 2 guns shoot the same pellet the best.

H/N barracuda match 10.65gr or jsb 10.34gr are great pellets to try, my 177 Hatsans mostly prefer either one of them, except from one that prefers Crosman Premier HP 7,9gr against all airgun pellet logic cause it goes way to fast, but I think of it as a bumblebee that is to heavy to fly with it's small wings, but is to dumb to understand that...

Thank you all for the advice! I installed a regulator. And so far I've found the H&N Baracuda Match works the best, but the groupings are still an old silver dollar at 30 yards.

I think I have them going too fast. I'll shoot thirty in the 960 to 970 fps range.

for pellets 960-970 is too fast for best accuracy.

chances are,
youll find your best accuracy happens at 900fps or less.


slow it down,
and try some 10.34gn jsb heavies
