Welcome anyway & Happy Memorial Day.

I guess it would come down to opinion so I'll voice mine in hopes of getting you a better one.

Of the people I know they want the NF, Sightron II & Bushnell, as they're known. I myself am only interested if a illuminated fine etched windage tree is available in 2ndFP. 

. I don't know what school of thought you subscribe to on buy once, cry once. If you're a dedicated one rifle/one scope, or one top tier switched around. 


As far as "long range" for me that's 200-600 and past 400 is pushing it with a perfect .257 so I can't answer your question.

I'm very interested in the mechanical nuances and glass variances of your scopes in question and which are known for ability to snap in/out reading near/far mirage, any other atmosphere conditions. Being I prefer to shoot groups on the lowest magnification I can manage, I don't need another scope but love to hear about them

I use a Nightforce Benchrest model. I've used it in the past for F Class 600yard and others use it for 1000 yard. I don't shoot that long with my air rifle, but glass is superior.
