What is a known "precision" replacement barrel to the stock Texan .257 LSS?

I like how my stock .257 LSS barrel is shooting and wondering what is a great precision replacement barrel that does not cost an arm and a leg.

If you can keep your comments and suggestions "on topic" I would like to hear from you.

Tj enterprises..has now ..250-257 barrel aviable in 1-8 and 1-9 .Twist that would be almost $190 for the blank and you have to find a good machinists I imagine that would be another $150+ .. aside from him everything else would be in the $400+ for the blank alone
mercado, thanks for chiming in. That Tj website is difficult to navigate. Do you have a specific link to those .257 barrels?

Green Mountain barrels are decent for the money.. All premium lapped barrels are $350.00 plus. That being said there is no comparison between custom lapped American bench rest barrel companies and regular production barrels. I would air lap or hand lap your lother Wather factory barrel if not wanting a full benchrest lapped barrel... Shilen barrels.has decent prices and are lapped... I'd buy a Benchmark barrel if I could if not brux or krieger.. Your Texan will never wear a barrel out so.cry once and get a good one.. 😀
