Almost forgot about this thread so I’ll give it a little bump.

Switched stock on my 177 crown from GRS to the pepper laminate, main reason for that is the grip on the GRS stock is just a bit too big for me. I don’t have big and manly Norwegian hands. Doh!!! Plus the pepper laminate stock is just so comfortable and well balanced for offhand and hunting style shooting, it’s setup for HFT so figure I’ll try pepper laminate for a while.

separately I mounted my vector scope back onto the bsa ultra. Really like this little gun, think I’ll keep it and one day when squirrels swarm my house I’ll bust it out the wrecking ball!

It's actually now wearing the ATN X Sight4K pro. Great combo for pesting under 30 yards!

Yes I agree. Much nicer than the OEM stock for sure. Put one on my 1720T also.

Today I retuned my .177 Disco/Maximus to 12 fpe. Disco tube with Maximus barrel. It shoots the 10.34 JSB real nice. 10.5 brown box CP not bad either. Regulated 3000psi fill. No idea how many shots it’s gets now but it’s a lot. I shoot this one off hand mostly. The bipod is only for chrony work.

Now just have to get the leak sorted out on my .20 Marauder conversion build. Of all the Marauders this one has been the biggest PITA.

They all look amazing. The color combo of the wood stock makes the PROD totally pop.

Upgraded my FX dreamtac compact’s amp regulator with the new brass piston from FX. Much more better!

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I received my Crown back from getting it “tuned up” by FX and will change scopes today and shoot some paper. FX tuned it to shoot JSB Monster 13.43 at 890 fps and “tweaked” the trigger. The trigger pull now is as light as on my RAW so I will have to re-learn how to shoot it again. I am very pleased with how easy and fast it has been working with FX and I give them two for their customer service.

Shot my .177 Gen2 Fortitude and .177 DAR Gen2 at 10 meters (11 yards) indoors because I was bored. (moments ago)

Both did well and POI was where it should be for a 28 and 40 yard zero respectively.

Just wish I had some real pest targets... (chuckle)

@BackStop I have the same “problem”, squirrels hasn’t visited my yard in months now and the coons that wrecked last of my fig harvest dispersed as soon as I put out the hand cuffs for then.

@ThomasT FX service is heads and shoulders above anyone else by a country mile! Not only their guns are just too much fun and phenomenal, their customer services made me a fanboy for life.

Had fun tuning a cheap $200 rifle (pcp) in to a hunter. Gamo Arrow

Final tune.

Port stayed at .147" Bumped the spring up to a 2-1/4" oal .059" wire with 1/2 a coil removed. Removed about 1/16" from the hammer face to increase the stroke and drilled the center of the hammer with a 1/4" drill bit 3/8" deep and press fit a peek striker. So a lighter hammer and much less mechanical noise during the firing.
