What have you done with your airgun today?

I made this 1/2 unf compact carbon mod, 5“ x 1.5” and less than 4 ozs. Obviously not as good as a longer moderator but it certainly makes things a whole lot quieter than with without.

Admirable. My tools are in the kitchen. Wish I could offer someone some fantastic chili in trade for my utter lack of comprehension around other tools and machining.

Put these cool, all aluminum anodized thumb bolts in in place of the pan head Allen bolts that come with the Saber Tactical cheek riser. I wanted a tool less adjustable set up should I or someone else would need to re adjust the cheek rest. The original pan heads wouldn’t tighten up enough and the Allen socket was prone to rounding off, and the best thing about these thumb bolts is once tightenened, you pull up on the spring loaded wing, and turn it to orient it anyway you want.

Try rubber band the chrono sideways on your air tube......granted your creation is far more elegant.

Went camping this weekend and spent few hours with my impact. Got up Saturday morning and my camping buddy isn’t up yet due to too much sake, I busted out the Impact and trying to figure out how to setup a target for some groups with some slugs. But my mag had some crosman hollow point still in it so I figured I’ll just empty them out first with some plinking. Lots of pine cones on the trees so plenty of targets, first one at 30 yards and it’s dead on. Feeling good the next pine cone was 55 yards, guesstimated the hold over and missed by a little. Minor adjustment later and I hit it dead on, surprised by the result and pulled the trigger and hit it again. This got me really interested because before the superior liner the CPHP would start to be unpredictable after 30 yards. Picked pine cone on a tree 80 yards away and held 6 mils and hit it, then another and another. 110 yards at 8.5 mils I still can repeatedly hit the same pine cone some times at the exact same spot! finally found a tree 180 yards away I couldn’t hit the pine cones because I couldn’t see the pellets and where I missed because I guessed the hold over.

I was so shocked by the accuracy of the CPHP I didn’t even bother load my slugs. The air gun gods must be smiling up on me yesterday I was able to free hand shot features on power pole 80 yards away with the CPHP. or maybe the superior liner is really simply SUPERIOR.

mind blown!

Went shooting in the snow!

first snow of the season so not too deep but sure is pretty. Sadly wind is very inconsistent so trying to shoot groups was frustrating.

the 26 grain slugs shooting at 960fps is actually pretty descent out of the 700mm .25 superior heavy but thanks to the wind the groups are not good. Then I tried 33 grain slugs and they seem to do pretty well at 860fps, I should of tried to push them a bit faster but next time.

here are two groups at 115 meters or just under 130 yards with 33 grains @860fps. Both groups aim point is the bulls eye, top left was all over the place and the wind even shifted left to right. Then the bottom right group had 5 shots in 1 inch cluster when the wind was consistent then I almost hit dead center when the wind died for a brief moment. Really happy with that one group!!! LOL

Near the end it started snowing but the wind died down a lot! 1 shot per target at 120 meters or just under 135 yards. Really happy with the results on this one!!! That’s 3 out of 5 squirrels dead! Not sure why the picture uploaded upside down.

so without the erratic wind the 33 grain nsa slugs seems to be really accurate out of superior heavy liner. I really need to get up early and shoot when there is no wind! Btw this is resting the bottle on a cardboard box and sand bag for the grip in my car so it was not steady at all so a lot of is probably me. Also note to self, if going shooting DONOT drink coffee!!!!!!🤬🤦‍♂️
