What happened to Joe Rhea and the scope reviews?

I think Joe had it with a couple of pantomaths on the forum and decided to chill. Lots of the old forum members are leaving lately. Hopefully, this trend reverses.

You are right, there have been people posing as normal users when in reality they are promoting scopes, and other products. It is hard as some of those people do have air gun knowledge yet they clearly have financial motives. That makes it hard for the moderators as they are scared to cancel those peoples accounts just because they post so much. It is frustrating as those people do post some good things but they are only doing that to cover up the fact that they are on the forums to sell some little known brand of scope or other product for financial gain.... :(

Isn’t that what you tube is all about .?

That's HOLLYWOOD SHOW BUSINESS FOR YOU!

At least I ain't stupid enough to pay $899 for a $499 scope based on HOLLYWOOD STYLE SHOW BUSINESS that's not even clear at max power!!!

Wonder what kinda financial gain I got suggesting Aim Sports Alpha6 (When on sale always for the CHEAPEST POSSIBLE selling price like nearly half off of retail) and Barra (When on sale for the CHEAPEST POSSIBLE selling price like 20 cents on the dollar cheap) and Leupold (When on sale for the cheapest possible price) and UTG (When on sale $100 off) and Crimson Trace (When on sale 50%-60% off) and even Athlon (When on sale 40%-50% off) and Hawke (When on sale 30%-40% off) and Sightron S-TAC (When on sale 60%-70% off) and Tract Optics (When rarely on sale 10% off) and Bushnell (When on sale 60%-70% off) and Centerpoint (When on sale even refurbs! 35%-60% off) and USED TO suggest Vortex (at the CHEAPEST places to buy from before I personally experienced poor QC with 2 different models of mine) and wonder why I always suggest the cheapest places of all different scope company resellers? I even heads upped the $100 off $299 Element Helix too that even ain't so great just because it was $100 cheaper at DVOR. I always state buy from return friendly dealers too and pick and buy maybe 10 to 20 different scopes you want to try and keep only 1 to 2 or maybe 3 and just return the rest for refund.

IF I had any financial benefit from the sales of any or all of these scope brands mentioned above it would certainly be VERY bad for my bottom line when I SHOULD BE pushing MAP PRICED RETAIL scopes to get the largest profit!!!

I don't push expensive tier1 scopes even though I buy them because I feel they don't have enough value for their asking price unless they are like almost $1000 off.

I have yet to receive a FREE scope or gun from ANY COMPANY to promote. I buy all my scopes and guns like everyone else with my own money and the deals I get that probably nobody else can get I NEVER PUSH ANY of these scopes since I know nobody else would be able to get them as cheap as I can just because of how much I personally spend frequently buying from them and nobody even asked for me to push them anyway not a single company asked me to promote their scopes.

They probably too scared that I find something to criticize.
