What gun won't ever be sold and what did you sell that you still cry over?

None of my hw springers gonna leave me, just shot my hw97k .22 at a hairspray bottle at 45y and managed to shoot the little cap of at first try, and that with two brews in my system! Gonna get myself a hw in .20 cal, just haven't decide if it will be a hw98 or a laminated hw77. The gun i miss the most is a Diana 52 i sold back in t mid 80's, could hit anything out to 200y, have been thinking about getting a new one, but affraid it will not bee as good...

Hello to All,

My 0.177" Wischo 55S.

A friend of mine bought it in the USA in, IIRC, the late 1970s, and brought it back to the UK when he finished his contract, and I bought it off him in 1979.

Generally, in the UK at that time, 0.177" rifles were fairly low in output - round about 9 to 10 ft.lb.

The Wischo made ca. 10.5 ft.lb, and was for its time, a true pocket-rocket - compact (round about the same size as an HW50/99S) and accurate, it was a lovely rifle to shoot.

In 1984, my son was born, and as we needed money at that time, I had to sell the Wischo.

At least it went to a good home :)

Have fun :)

Best regards

Russ
