On, Canada
Back in the summer I had ordered a few HW’s, a 95, 97 and 98 in .20 cal. In January I was told .20 and .25 won’t be available in Canada by the Weihrauch Distributor. Bummed out, I took my licks especially reading on this forum how favourable the .20 is to many.
‘This morning by habit I checked out a few Can. dealers. Low and behold I sniffed out a R9 .20. Finally. Sold along with 10 tins JSB 13.73. Should be here Thursday.

Why a Beeman and not a Weihrauch? Crow

Happy Easter

Love my R9....

Shoot in good health

Might well be new/old stock and been on a shelf for awhile. You might try running the serial number through the Weihrauch database and see when about when it was built:

PA here in the US sells the Beeman R7 and R9 and used to show both in .20 cal but no more, just .177 for the R7 and .177 and .22 for the R9.

Glenroiland thanks. I’m looking forward to seeing your custom stock. I haven’t any yet. That will be my next interest down the road. Crow.

ChuckHunter thanks. I was staying away from the .20 cal. Didn’t want to stock another pellet size. Not the best selection either. Thought the other cal. sizes would satisfy, but way too many forum members had nothing but positive remarks about the .20. Had no Choice. Crow

Mike thanks. Your one of the culprits that swayed my needs. As far as old, I’m about the only old thing around here. Only been into Airgun’s for 3 years. No Airgun contacts and with Covid-19 isolated most that time. If I could get my hands on one I wouldn’t say no. Crow

SteveP-52 thanks I’ll check that out. Crow
jccarns thanks Crow

I own 8 rifles in .20. I don't look at it as a lack of choices, I look at it as what there is, is the cream of the crop. Even better yet is every rifle I have shoots all the .20 choices very well so I can pick any of the 5: 2 versions of H&N, 2 versions of JSB and the Predator Polymags and all my rifles shoot all 5.

Bottom middle and right targets were sighting in the Airmax 4-12x40 my R9 now wears at 25 yards. The other 4 were shooting for groups. The JSB 13.73's grouped the best but the other 3 were no slouches :)

SteveP-52 nice shooting. I’m only into this 3 yrs. and from what I’ve seen here in Can. .20 just aren’t available, unfortunately like in the USA. The ammo was the excuse not to for me, but reading on this forum all the positive with .20 cal, values changed. I’ve only seen 2 .20 cal. and I scooped them both. Still haven’t shot the 90. Looking forward to shooting them. I’ve worked on my range for last 2 days. Crow

If you found pellets on a shelf, you're doing better than US shooters...lol. PA had a small batch come in and promptly sold out in under 2 hours. Other retailers are sold out and still waiting. Hopefully people who needed some managed to get some.

Custom stock I have but mine's a laminate I bought for my HW95 .22. My R9 .20 should I want to will drop right in it.

Enjoy the shooting :)
