What Fill Station For Scba?

Well I never had an issue with my cheap ebay/Amazon fill Station its the one that has the orange oring at the end. I recently got 2 more tanks and have ben using it a little more and it failed. Looking into it I have seen others say that its a known thing and I can either replace thay part with the item linked but I am curious if I should just invest in a better fill Station entirely. Thank you in advance.

I have one that I purchased from North Shore Compressor (https://www.northshorecompressor.com.) Top quality but it's not cheap - after the dust settled it cost me around 200 smackers. I figured that when I'm fooling with 4500 psi air that I should not take any chances. When you get to their web site you need to go to "paintball accessories". What they show is a fill station for a CGA347 tank valve nest. If you want a different tank adapter I'm am sure they can do it.

That part you listed is probably fine, I have purchased parts from airtanks plus before and they seem to only sell quality stuff. Nuvair has a similar model in stainless steel that is on my fill station: https://nuvair.com/1-4-npt-to-scba-hand-tight-ss-adapter-max-5500-psi.html. As far as investing in an entire new higher quality fill station, it wouldn’t be a terrible decision as I think our fill stations are the weakest link in our pcp filling process.

Remove the ring & closely examine the groove it sits in. Sometimes there are small burrs that can be smoothed with fine grit Emery cloth. Worst case scenario, buy 50 o-rings from Mcmaster-carr for very few $ & replace as needed. Or order harder, more durable rings. Btw, those orange o-rings are poope! The ones I got from Mcmaster-carr last for months on mine.
