I'm a retired Air Force officer -- spent my entire military career in space operations, including Space Shuttle, Titan, Atlas, Delta launch operations, and some spook satellite stuff. Finished my last tour in 2001 at Air Force Space Command Headquarters in my hometown of Colorado Springs, CO. I'm now a program manager in the civilian aerospace world, having worked on multiple NASA spacecraft programs, high altitude UAVs for DoD, and ballistic missile defense programs.
I have a daughter in college and a wife who is a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey.
When I'm not busting my arse in the office, I unwind with a plethora of hobbies: backpacking in the Sierras, 4-wheeling, flying drones and r/c airplanes, woodworking, scuba diving, road cycling, mountain biking, watching horror movies, and of course airgunning!
