What do you want in a product review?

i 'dont' want to see your perfect 100y groups you spent a month putting together lol ... when it comes to a gun its most enlightening to see about 4 clips of shooting from a side view with the action being worked, clips being used, the fill process and any hangups or nuances that present themselves, dont edit that out till it just shows a perfect example of how good 'you' are lol ... also its nice to see a common example of a retail gun being setup and tested, not a factory prepped and polished sent to someone for free for a demo .. i dont want to see that crap

I have watched many of your videos Donnie and they are very good.

I like review videos that follow a basic format. AEAC Steve and Airgun Detwctives J.C. do a great job at this. Rick Eustler Air Gun Web used to but kind of jumps around now.

I like to know how the gun performs "out of the box", but also want to know what can be done to it to make it "better", and would really like to know how it holds up.

I understand that you guys are busy and once a gun has been reviewed it either gets sent back to the manufacturer or goes back on the shelf and you move on to the next one, but it would be nice to see how a gun holds up to getting a tin of pellets rammed through it every week for a year...

I like what AEAC does on Instagram, where he posts pics of all the groups he shoots with the various pellets. Gives the consumer an idea of what that gun likes.

Velocity numbers, shot strings and trigger weights are always good.

I know it won't happen, but I would really like to know what happens when you go to review a gun that is just an absolute POS. I think that the consumer has a right to know that information as well. The only reviewers that do that sort of thing are guys that spend their own money on a product. I understand how the sponsorship relationship goes, so you can only do so much in that department.

Thanks for what you do and thanks for contributing on the forums.

Maybe include reviews of airgun related products and accessories. Like pellet pens or pellet pouches.Shooting Tables or rests and bags. Are they practical ? Where are they manufactured ? does a product actually do what it claims. R there any modifications that users make to adapt it to their equipment or needs, what it's being used for. What do others (plinkers, hunters, competitors use).R there other uses that it gets or may be used for?(now there's a bone,,lol)What does it costs and would you get your moneys worth,(yes yes that is subjective to the end user). Show how the acc or product is used, placed, performs. Can an acc/product be practical to more than just a specific niche of the air rifle hobby. Well,u get the gist. By the way I liked your thoughts in the review of the Huntsman Revere.Happy NewYear
