What do you suggest I do if Walmart doesn't send a genuine Yong Heng pump?

I have ordered a Yong Heng pump from Walmart. Fex Ex says they will bring it this Thursday. I have become concerned after reading a lot of posts that the dealer will send me not a Yong Heng pump like the one advertised on the Walmart site but a clone. I may get a Yong Heng pump but in case I don't I have been trying to think ahead as to what I should do.

I think I will have two options.

1. If the pump does not have the Yong Heng label I can insist that the dealer send me a return shipping label and refund my money. I would expect the dealer to pay the return postage since they didn't send what was advertised. But the dealer might insist that I pay the return shipping.

2. I have a four year warranty on the pump. I could just use the pump and if it went bad use the warranty. The trouble is, I don't know how good the warranty will be. Will they expect me to mail the pump back at my expense?

Anyone have any experience with this? I would appreciate your suggestions.

I'd wait till Thursday and see what arrives. As with any order, something sent, that conflicts with what was advertised, can be challenged. Of course, if they didn't exactly say it's a Yong Heng, and what arrives is just as pictured in ad, that's something different. If a clone arrives, and you just can't live with it, contact Walmart to see if you can return to store, unopened, for credit. I think they'd oblige, can't imagine your first person to order something thinking it was something else.

Went to Walmart.com and searched electric PCP pumps. Majority were Yong Heng look-a-likes and most had VEHPRO in white letters on side. Don't think if you ordered one of those you should expect an original Yong Heng. Two, however, TOP CHANCES and INTSUPERMAI brands, both showed photos of a compressor looking identical to my Yong Heng (Set Pressure) model, including YONG HENG in white letters on case. The description section, under BRAND noted: TOP CHANCES or INTSUPERMAI, Yong Heng not mentioned. Something doesn't seem right. TOP CHANCES or INTSUPERMAI compressors should look exactly like the picture posted as their product. If they just used a Yong Heng photo to sell their clone, that, in my opinion, is false advertising. I guess you'll have to open box and see what's inside. Anything different from what they showed as their product should go back to Walmart.

lol .. yong heng is textbook generic anyway .. your not wowing anybody with your 'genuine' yong heng pump trust me .. if its all there i'd use it unless it breaks then you got walmart to replace it for you ..

Yong Heng is a brand name not a generic. There are many generics that look like the Yong Heng but you never know what you are getting as many have slightly different parts in them here and there. Just enough to cause trouble when they need replaced and can't be sourced like the parts of the Yong Heng can.

I noticed one of the Tuxing brand compressors had the second stage cylinder and piston assembly that cost $231 when the Yong Heng had both pistons and cylinders, although slightly different in build, for less than $60. You need to be careful what you buy.
