Ataman What do you guys think of the Ataman AP16?

Voted in between because I don’t know much about i or ever handled one. But I would rate its “look” as superb…

The closest we can get here in canukistan is the Reximex clone of the AP16 which is the RP/A. I have one of them and for the most part it’s a great design. The AP16 is much better designed with no corners cut. Real two stage trigger, no BS plastic mags , different cylinder and barrel lengths. I say it’s a winner even though I’ve never held one. The reviews have all been positive.

I have been down the "Russian Rabbit Hole". Left a very bad taste in my mouth and took months to resolve. Once bitten twice shy.

I rated superb though it is definitely not perfect. I find it to be a quality piece in fit and finish, it's very accurate, reasonably powered and air efficient. Styling while subjective, I think she's a beauty. My biggest con is that one must be considerate/aware of how low the pressure is getting while shooting, if too low on pressure it tends to let all the air out after a shot. I typically shoot 3 mags and top off, I can usually get 4 mags on a fill but charge early as caution.
