What do you guys recommend to wrap my shroud and bottle with?

Hi all, I’ve got an FX .25 DL w/ the aluminum bottle, and I’ve already accidentally scratched it up while I was hunting with it. I’ve been looking into using some wrap to cover it all up to keep it safe, but I’ve been also wanting to keep it looking tacticool also. Pictures and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Stay safe out there everyone!

Thanks, PlinkForFun

You can use camo tape. Works good.

I used shrink tube on my Impact barrel, LDC, and power plenum. It is sold as fishing rod handle on eBay and Amazon.

Here osa link to a Earnest Rowe video and my rifle is done the same as his:

That heat shrink stuff looks great. I found a link to it and I think I might try some out. Is it okay to use a heat gun on the bottle, etc?

It should be OK as you don't need to heat it up for very long to get it to shrink. For safety you could drain some of the air from the bottle.

I have not done my bottle but read on one of the forums that the largest diameter shrink tube barely fits. The person who did it needed soapy water on the bottle and shrink tube to get it to slide it onto the bottle.
