I should be receiving a Caldwell lead sled DFT 2 Today. I have been using a Caldwell precision turret to zero my pcps, as for a day at the range and even hunting from a table it works great but that's it.

That's awesome!Received a pack of AVS .22 20gr .2183 Dish Base to try thru my Vet2 550mm....they are super accurate with my current tune of 975fps for 18gr JSB and these are going 930-ish with a very tight 2-3fps deviation. Have some H&N .218 Slugs coming. My vet also likes NSA 20gr .218 but these AVS are stupid accurate. I hope the H&N are similar to these in accuracy as they are less expensive per round...time will tell!
Sadly not me but my buddy, although I tuned the gun for him so it partially counts4 is awesome! Excellent shooting yesterday!
Sorry, not sure if I replied to this. But I did end up sticking some foam under the cheek rest and on top. Looks tacky but it does help with the vibrations. At this time, no reg issues. Shoots very consistent. The Krait may be my new main .22 air gun.Mmm bbq
Nice to know that 400mm barrel with sling slugs. Not sure if some stick on foam will absorb some sound? Any Reg issues on your krait? I think that was all ironed out with the new ones. The old ones had a reg designed for UK power so I believe that was the issues.
I wish they made larger tins! They are very accurate pellets!Ordered a tin of .25 "Dead Center" pellets. First tin only lasted three days...lots of paper punching and 9 squirrels.![]()
