What did you do airgun related today.

I set up a new target thing at the range. I put a saw blade on a wire and hang a bell behind the saw blade. 3/8 hole and 5 1/2 inch blade for the 45 yard one and a bigger blade for the 100 yard target. It’s still in the works so I used tape and just took a shot. Missed just low right . The next two went through 3/8 of an inch and did not even wiggle the blade.
Airguns are amazing.

Picked up a Brum Tomahawk this week but it was missing its slimtech silencer. Wasn't much fun to cock the 13" LW barrel, so had a rummage in the shop....only had stainless in but made this little 1/2" unf mod anyway-

Does the job and looks 'ok', but will be replacing it with something more correct in the long run.....

Dang... just had a couple dozen mediocre circular saw blades I consigned to the garbage can (and cost me nothing to begin with)!

Today was pretty good day at the swapper. Couple weeks back bought a full, red Sheridan 500 rd. tin of 5mm pels for $20. Today, a friend of the seller bought (and resold to me) two earlier, gray/white 500 rd. tins of 5mm pels (only one tin was about 95% full) for $35.00 the pair. Then found the three pictured "spice-cans" of Crosman .22 cal. pels. One is sealed and two opened but basically full, for $10. Lastly got the Ontario US machete for $10. One never knows where your pellet rifle will take you...

Working on my auction treasures. Painted the barrel of my Crosman 114, did the first coat of TruOil on it's stock. Did the first coat of Minwax on the stock of the Benjamin 347 and while its drying I attacked the barrel and action with Gun Scrubber then gave it a nice wipe down with TriFlow. A fun day even though my favorite college football team got stomped by Texas Tech.

Put a crc plenum on a notos build, waiting on the rest of the parts from Maple and c88 to arrive to see what it all can do.

Brought the regulator setting down on my U2 177 as it was pushing 18.5gr slug at 1090fps 😅 relatively quiet too might I add but an air hog.

Put a new to me (for my buddy) PHC .22 out a new buttstock on it, paired it with an arken and an IA.

Made sure to top off all my guns for the week.

Shooting pellets with the new DRS. Very impressed. This gun is Super rigid and well built (typical of FX), cocking is a dream, the guns movement is like a Vaseline covered baracuda gliding through an astroglide ocean. the efficiency of this gun is impressive. 210cc, shooting 18.13JSB at 860 nearing 70 shots. Super accurate, Not as loud as I was expecting. The only complaint, which is more of a minor gripe is the DRS mini magazine. the front plate locking system leaves very little room to get your finger in to wind the follower open. This was 50m with 18.13s. They would be tighter if I had shot at higher zoom rather than 2.5x

The sim card and blue piece of wrapper are covering up the holes from the nails that pinned it to the tree.
Get an Orion The Iguana Hunter Magazine.
They are way easier to load and they fit in the rifle better !

Plus 42.1gr slugs fit in the magazine.
