I can of course not live with the universdal mount for my Nate Crony steadyshot, so got my hands on some CF pipe which i have been cutting into ( of course NOT here inside my apartment )

Just about ready to take into use, just need to glue a little strip of sheet metal into place,and then get a single 3D print part made.


No go.

Go go go.

BTW,,,,,,, i am steady as a rock.

FYI. I do tune / change calibre a lot and so pretty much always shoot with a chrono on the rifle, the Nate ones the sensors do need a clean every few sessions at the range ( session = about a full work day in length )
Cleaning is done with child toothbrush in about 15 seconds ( tool less )
My FX chrono will be collecting dust.

I do some casual shooting and checking zero at a 8” steel plate I hang under my bird feeder. I use a paint removal head on an angle grinder and a thin layer of spray paint comes off super easy.
I was just drawing with sharpie bulls on it. I ordered a dot stencil and gave that a try today. It really makes this process quick and easy.

Dropped my 6 year old vortex Diamondback tactical from about 5ft with a gun. The internal lens cracked at the top, but the scope remained functional and never lost zero. I will be sending it off tomorrow for warranty exchange! Their service is amazing!

I just finished porting the coworkers notos first time porting anything in about 7 years. Did the barrel to 4.5, valve channel to 3.9 and pressure plate to 5mm thanks to @RoosterCogburn help.

Zeroed new discovery HD Gen2 5-30x56 at 100. Tested every slug i had at 30,55,101.
Appreciate the impact more and more every day.

Results with the .217 take aim 26dish and 30gr XLHP so good I ordered a good bit. Stocked up on 20.2 and 27.5 217 NSA slugs

These are the numbers for the take aim 26gr 217 dishbase slugs. Unbelievable
Below are the XLHP .2175 30gr Boat tails.
The ones with the normal sized cavity and s2 ogive are in the .130's. But this is more than great. These were fired from a friend's DRS PRO. Id have an aneurism burst from the spreads tripping my spergrage

. Got 700mm BC and FX tensioning kits. One for the heavy 1:16tr and one for the superior 1:24tr. Carbon liner sleeves for both, delrin c3 bumper on the way. Fresh oem springs. Might have a very special plenum and power block here soon..hyped about it.

Paid to bring my .177 katran L back home.

Spent the day at the Farm/range today. Had 6 shooters out with us. Took out the Notos, Zelos, and Karma Eq. Had a great time. My poor rabbit "air rifle" targets dont handle the 30 cal very well. Lol. I have to hammer them flat again after each range session.

I made a new field target gun tote today.
It was all from a 48x24 inch piece of very good plywood. It is made for my HFT500. The one I have been using for the last ten years is made for my Tx200. And it put a slight scuff on the air tube. This tote is made so it support the stock. And has two positions. Straight up and down to carry. And at an angle for between shots. It is a little wider to accommodate my clip board. And it is a little lighter also. It has a cradle for my sticks also.

Made some good progress today on my compact arca rail lowers that mount on my trigger guard designs. Its coming along nicely. Fine tuning some of the design features, and manufacturing process.

Fine-tuned the little Crosman 4x15 scope that resides on the Crosman 66 Powermaster.
First time ever I found one of these to be any good.! lol

Mounted the element immersive 10x40. Now forsaking and shunning all other optics I own. Very happy with the new scope.

I have tuned 3 impacts.

My m4 .22 600mm shooting 20.83gr KO slugs at 890fps for 6 mags per fill on a 480cc bottle.

My m4 .30 500mm shooting 44.75gr hades/atomics at 840fps for 2.5-3 mags

My buddies m3 (used to be mine many months ago) I fixed the leak from the fill nipple, replaced bottle valve oring, polished internals, replaced factory 6g hammer with tungsten 13.2g hammer although my scale showed 15g. And tuned it to shoot 25gr slugs at 881fps. I will likely bring down the reg for more shots as it can currently reach closer to 1030fps with the reg at 140b with ease. Current tune is micro 3, valve 2.8, rear reg 140b.

I made a lot of noise, CUZ i forgot the 1/2 - 20 adapter for the moderator at home, so no testing of my franken chronomod above.
Mind you i did get along just fine, especially after 300 or so shots when i had to break to go visit my old mother and do a little shopping for her.

CUZ coming back to the range, the 13 grain Zan slugs had changed from Mmmmm good to Lasers, so out at 120 M i was hitting very close to what ever i was aiming at, and quite often hitting it, which is nice when it is holes ( granted a little larger than .177 even if they was mande by one of those ) made in a thin ALU plate.

Also took delivery or my friend did on my behalf of a collection of chimney pipe for the new heat source for the shot shed.

Just those 400 shots today, and TBH i can not recall when if ever i have just shot that little in a day at the range.

Also had a short sort of intense shower roll in expected, a bit of a downer in regard to amount and proximity of thunder and lightning.
