What did you do airgun related today.

What's adjustable scope rings how do they work ?
Westhunter and Vector Optics make the ones I use.

A bolt holds the two halves together. You remove the bolt and the upper half slides out and can be raised higher.

OR

A couple screws hold the halves. Just loosen and raise up or down.

This looked interesting for them guys wanting one piece mount for like the bugbuster scope that the rings spacing is too long or whatever and ive run in to wishing the ring spacing was different a time or two.

Ill save this to my favorites just in case one day ....

I was using a lot of one piece and cantilever mounts but I've been replacing them and the rings on risers with the adjustable rings. Several guns are 11mm dovetail and I have been buying the CVLife 5-25x56 scopes with 34mm tubes. 11mm and 34mm is a less common ring. Westhunter has their adjustable 11mm in 34mm.

Much cleaner look and I like the Westhunter colors.

Ok. Thanks checked it out very nice

I was , so bored taking it easy I went down to Ace Hardware with my extra Zelos barrel , and bought 2 feet of plastic tubing. The idea was to slip it over barrel to help with vibration. I got the Idea from when I was a archer as we used these plastic pieces on the string to make the twang go away.
I got the tubing covered the back part of the barrel , and all I could under the shroud. It was a great Idea , and made the rifle very quiet. I used the left over price between the bottle , and the barrel to help there. Got some great accuracy. I swear I can't wait to get my Stinger gun rest if I was not established as OldVet my name would be wiggler. It was 104 °F out , but hey me , and flies , and the mosquitos were in the shade in the back yard. Got off some of the best 5 shot groups I ever did ,so far with using that new double mag too OldVet
