what could be the cheapest big bore?

Hello What about a used Career 201 , Dragon Slayer or a used Seneca 909? All are nice , light single shot hunting rifle with a lot of power. You might be able to find on cheap, A lot of people bought them and then realized the where too loud and powerful to shoot in there back yard (speaking from experience and sorry already sold mine) Just an idea hope this helps Eric.

Sounds good and could be a good option

thanks.

AEA Big bore bullpup in .35 on Ebay for about $750 and they also have a .30 cal for about $550. Hatsan BT Big Bore .30/.35 is also about $550

Claiming 182fpe in .35 cal with 20 full power shots? I'm going to call BS. I'd love to be proven wrong, though... but I'd venture it's a safe bet that aint happening.

Yeah those seem like selling numbers not actual numbers but Ben Pierson from Shooting Gear Reviews did a review on a .30 cal and he was shooting 50gr JSB's at a little over 950fps producing 108fpe so the .35 cal should have higher numbers enough for what he's planning on hunting. The shot count probably isn't great either but for $550 I'm considering one for myself

Yeah, I'm not knocking the suggestion. I watched the vid on the .30 and it looked good for the cost. I've got a plethora of other .35's and am actually getting rid of one. If I were in the market, I'd give them a look as well.

Strictly considering your $500 budget and 60 - 80 yard Deer and Coyote hunting.

A Benjamin Bulldog (used) may do at 80 yards. Have a few of them in case I need to dispatch Pigs. 2 out of 4 were leakers that yellow Teflon tape easily fixed.
