What Chrono?

What chrono is most commonly used for air rifles? I’ve used LabRadar for my benchrest powder rifles with a remote trigger that worked great. But I was at 2800-3000 fps. Any input would be appreciated,I am shooting a FX Maverick 25 cal and want to know where I’m at with the 25 gr Diablo pellets.

Just use your Labradar! You may need to buy the air rifle microphone (called air gun trigger adapter) and bracket to better pick up the pellets and you are good to go. Works good!!!

Reading just the subject line I might have said the old school Pro Chrono, but "X" is correct, if you already have a Labradar that is the one. Never had the pleasure of using one. IF need grab that "trigger" and you should be all set.
Now maybe if shopping for a brother-inlaw lot's of people who just need a general reading these day's use the little sub $50.00 units, also I havent tried one of those.
Reasonably sure if you type Labradar in the search box, lot's comes up.

My gun club has a LabRadar, and I've used it with my air rifles with no problem. I didn't have the adapter mentioned above, but after tinkering with the adjustments, it worked fine.

I use the inexpensive chinese chronys. I have the clamp on the barrel model but I like the one that can be tripod mounted better. I can shoot groups as I shoot a shot string. Works great, inexpensive and has a rechargable battery. I got the tripod one from alliexpress and the clamp on one from Amazon.

My Magnetospeed does everything I need for my 3 airguns. My FX chrono does not read my Texan .257. I believe the Magnetospeed is more reliable and accurate than the FX chrono or Labradar. The Sporter model I have is only $179.
