Thanks,I didn't know hose unscrewed there above hose connection. Do these get replaced a lot? I had a bunch of hand pumps years ago but never used them because I got big bores and got a Shoebox and tanks.
After pumping, open the filter, remove the "cotton" (element) & let it air dry. You can either slide in a new cotton or replace with the DRIED OUT one. Good habit to get into as that will help avoid corrosion inside the metal filter casing.
make sure to change these filters when they build up with oil and other deposits otherwise you'll have a difficult time pumping up your gun; especially when you get past 3,000 psi.
