What caliber do you use most often

I'm not asking what the "best" caliber is or even what your favorite caliber is. If people were going to place a bet on what caliber you are likely shooting at random, what caliber would that be. Whether it be for hunting or plinking really doesn't matter.

Most of my springers are .177. Now I am acquiring .22 and .20 calibers. I do like the bigger calibers in the winter time, easier to load with gloves on. Foot Joy makes some awesome winter golf gloves.

When the tin is resting on something, because of my geezer fingers - that used to be able to effortlessly tie knots in 1 pound tippet and construct some pretty fancy dry flies - I often use tweezers to load the magazines. I can fill one in about half the time with the tweezers. An added bonus is that I don't get my fingers covered with lead so I don't have to wash my hands when done shooting.

.20 cal by a mile. AZ Rapid mkll . 20 and Beeman r9 .20. Why, both are very accurate and has been my favorite for a while. The .20 just works for me.

I do find myself shooting .22 more often. That being said, it’s probably a close call with the .177.

.177 for targets or plinking, .22 for everything else or longer range targets, rarely .25 but have the option.

I was all about .22 and .25 until I started shooting Field Target. FT really showed me the value of lightweight, zippy pellets. These days I probably go through 3-4 tins of .177 for every 1 tin of the other calibers combined. With PSA running Extreme FT next year, that may change some but I doubt .177 will lose its crown.

I had a blast with my .177 impact mk2 what I didnt like was that they started getting whirley on me at 50 yards

For both .177 and .22 I wear gloves that joggers wear. They’re sort of like glove liners, they’re thin and afford good dexterity for pellets. Sometimes when cold out I’ll wear my hunting hand warmer with those chemical heaters inside to re-warm hands if bitter cold. And for making pellet handling/selecting much easier I pour 20 or 30 into the flat tray shown, much much easier than trying to pick pellets out of a tin, especially .177’s.

Primarily .22. Very economical and extreme variety of pellet weights and designs. My springer is .177 (wanted to try something different, caliberwise). My FWB piccolo 10 meter of course is .177.

25 is my happy medium, 22 feels small for my fingers nowadays and 30 is nice- but twice the price.

That seems perfectly reasonable to me
