I know JSB's are soft and Crosman's are harder, but what brand has the hardest lead?
What brand pellets are considered to be made from \"hard lead\"?

Can't say for sure, but of the most widely known/popular brands, I would have to guess that Crosman is the hardest.
There may be others that are harder, but they are most likely NOT widely known or popular/available?
Just my guess and humble opinion.

Somebody over on GTA did some hardness testing on a number of different pellets. As I recall the results were a bit inconsistent. Perhaps it was the testing method.

I don't remember the details. I have found the pellets that my air rifles like and stocked up on them. I only care how they shoot not which ones might be harder than others. I also seem to recall that the differences weren't that dramatic.

I'm with the "How do they shoot in my barrel" crowd.
My limited experience, Crossman's are the hardest, but are also the cheapest and shoot great in my Cayden. So no need to pursue other options.

Not sure you guys in the states have them but I've found bisley magnums a hard pellet and 21 grain in .22 they go well out of a few of the older barrels like theoben rapids and career 707 etc
