Silicon or what other oil?
This is a silicon gel I am using it for several years already, looks like a lifetime volume. It works flawless with orings over summer hot days, but during Canadian winter = sub zero C - it feels that I would need something thinner on orings and running. I may wanna go with seasonal...

Check like RC hobby oils . It comes in a lot of viscosity and containers with drip spouts

Probably a good value today. Last grease i hot was ace hardware bit now its 90%. Instead of the old 100.
For oils any of them rc oils just got to know how thick or thin you want to use in any application.

As I recall, most all silicone lubricant comes from Dow (used to be Dow Corning).
They sell it to other outlets to either sell as is, or add various additives as thickeners to make into a thicker gel or thicker into a paste, and then add their own container and name.
So yeah, most any silicone "originally"...came from the Dow company.
Note - A few other companies make it now, but the base material, is 99% the same as the original Dow silicone.
So yeah, buy what you find easily, in the thickness that you like.
