What are your thoughts on posts/threads that cross over forum lines???

So what are your thoughts on duplication of posts between the three forums? I am speaking of the GTA, Airgun Warrior’s and AGN…..

I posted this in the PCP section as I mainly post related to PCP Airguns.

I have been into adult Airguns for about 13+ years now and used to post mainly on the “old yellow forum”. I was known for posting threads that included lots of pics and generally told stories from the past weekend etc.

I also look for technical help when needed and also post if I can help someone who is asking a question that I can actually answer.

My thought behind this post is that I am getting back into the posting game and have thought what others think about someone who posts the same thread on the three boards.

I regularly check out these three and wondered if it was thought of already and that I might have missed it?

So what are your thoughts please?

Thank you in advance…..

~GOD BLESS~

John

MOD EDIT moved to General Airgunning

John I say Go for it ! I very rarely go to the other two forums you listed . So I'm very happy to see good posts here . A great post Is worth sharing .
Not every forum is for everybody , I'm positive guys on those forums don't come here . Everyone has the forum they are most comfortable with.
If its only posted on Gateway to Oldies , Or Warrior Princess forum I'd never see it ...So make sure and don't leave us out :)

I'm a member of all three forums. Very rarely post or visit much on the other two. They all seem to have their own flavor so to speak. I feel the Yellow is very springer, friendly with some pcp talk. The Gateway seems more budget pcp (qb-79, xisco, etc) and has a lot of discussion on "franken" guns with occasional talk of FX, Daystate, etc. Nothing wrong with any of that, I just find more relevant conversation here that fits my interests. For that reason many people find their "homes" so to speak and won't get much exposure elsewhere. I'd call AGN my home forum. I do think however, that it's often good to post cross forum to get different opinions and views. I've posted the same thing in all three forums before especially when I find something I really want to learn about or get as many opinions as I can. Post away I say.

To the OP.
Maybe you're not finding the answer you're fishing for??

I post on many different forums from auto to guns etc....

I always use my same name on all forums I visit. "toku58"

I'm suspecious about people who use different user names on different forums? (I don't see the point)

I make friends on most forums I visit and if they see my user name on another forum they know it's me!
