What are y'all doing this weekend thats Airgun related?

I'll be catching up on some lost trigger time in the garden. I've been enjoying testing my Mrod's aperture sight setup and gaining confidence to reach out farther without the advantage of magnification. I was easily connecting with tangerines (roughly 2 inches in diameter) at 48 yards yesterday. This started out as an expensive bad idea that has turned out to be one of the best DIY airgun projects I've tried. Now I am looking at those really expensive Centra AR15 flat top rear aperture sights and wondering if I should double down on that bad idea and make the same thing for my FX DreamTac.

We're having some friends over for a pool party (its unusually hot here for May in Texas) and my buddy Kyle is itching to try some of my airguns! Now I've just got remember which ones are sighted in and what their hold-overs are :geek:

Weekend of airgun related activities... Today is me proofing dope on a .25 RW out to 100 Yards in anticipation of the 5-8 June Textreme. Then Sunday, tomorrow is all about practice practice practice with my EFT Pistoli, a Brocock Pathfinder built by @zx10wall for the specific mission of knocking down EFT targets from 15-55 yards in the TX winds....

I've been thinking about iron sights for the Mrod. Do you have pix?

I designed and 3D printed the front blade, which is attached to the front of the shroud via the thread protecting nut on a moderator adapter (a moderator will also hold it in place if you need one). The rear sight is a Williams FP-AG-TK base with a Gehmann adjustable iris. I have about $180 in the rear sight and just a bunch of my time and a little material for the front sight. I'm working on a proper globe sight up front, but the current arrangement is working perfectly once I got the height right for 10M shooting. Zeroed at 20 yards now, I'm pretty much good to shoot from 10 out to 50 yards without clicking the knobs on the rear sight.

Beauty! That and a globe up front would be ideal for me. I have a nice match-rifle rear and a bunch of globe fronts, just no mounts.

All I need...more projects! o_O

Since receiving my Barra 400e I have been having a blast trimming weeds in the woods around the house. I had forgot how much fun bb guns are, especially full auto bb guns. Mark
