Probly some closely guarded secret FX synthetic stock material of some sort. ;^) It usually contains a percentage of nylon.

Thanks for answering. I drilled a hole for a pic rail, thinking about moving it slightly. Wondering what I could fill the hole with. Black epoxy is probably fine.
