The 1720T is a 177 single shot pistol while the Marauder is a MULTI shot repeater rifle in 177, 22 or 25 caliber.

The Marauder pistol is a 22 multi shot repeater pistol that is the same size as the 1720T which could possibly lead to some confusion. The only "fifference"? is the caliber and one is single shot vs repeater multi shot.

Both are too long to fit my definition of a “pistol” and are too cumbersome for my type of pistol shooting but both are equally fun as carbines IMO. Do wish Crosman would have made the 1720T to accept both a SST and magazine. I like the Prod well enough I turned one into a “true” pistol.

My Prod likes CPM and CPHPs ok. It does do better with JSB 14.3. Others have said H&N FTT do well but I’ve yet to try them myself.

1701 --1720 -- P-rod -- Woods Walker ..... ALL USE THE SAME Trigger group and Air Tube.

1701 & 1720 are SINGLE SHOT and .177 cal only 10" LW on 1701 & 12" LW on 1720 The 1701 has no shroud the 1720 does being similar to P-rod & WW

P-rod and Woods Walker are Multi shot with 8 round mags coming with Crosman barrels in .22 caliber.

best I've figured out .....

anyone have a idea what Pellet the Marauder Pistol likes in 22?

You may try H&N FTT 5.53mm and 5.54mm usually are sure winners and sometimes get lucky and likes the cheap Crosman Premier Hollowpoints and or the Ultra Magnum Domes.

I've had 2 crosman barrels on my prod. Both loved these in 5.53.....best pellet by far. Neither shot the 5.54 too good. The first barrel also shot the CPHP's pretty well, but the second barrel did not. Neither barrel liked any of the JSB's in any weight.

Fieldsupply usually has these in stock and will sometimes have them on sale for $9.99 with free shipping on orders over $75 and they don't charge tax.
