I'm not a scope expert by any means, but a couple I've recently bought and like are the element helix and athlon Talos. Both fairly affordable and have good glass. I like the eye relief on the athlon better.
I put a Bushnell Nitro on mine. Works great and has hashmarks for longer shots. They aren't made any longer but if you can find one used, I would say go for it. Thx Dan
Another one you may want to look at is from Nikon that is made for muzzleloaders. it is the Nikon Inline XR and they are very reasonable. You don't need any large magnification since you won't really be shooting past 150 yards and 100 yards is a much better approach for a good shot placement. Thx Dan
I got a carbine this year. The only piece of advice I can offer is to NOT use a compact scope unless it has a very small ocular lens. Otherwise you will end up using some very high rings and getting a good cheek weld will be impossible. He pic rail will force you to raise the scope. I ended up using a Hawke air gun scope on mine until I find something more suitable. So far I have had zero issues.
Thankyou for the advice & your time I have heard of Hawke scopes ,I see some listed in the classifieds section for pretty good deals , I'm still researching & watching a bunch of YouTube vids .
