Talk about a reactive target, lol. This thing had me feeling like Carlos Hathcock setting off a detonation charge with his ‘06 from a thousand yards away, ha ha!!

These are power strips for a Hilton powder actuated fastener tool. I’ve got a few left over from high rise work over the years. It’s a .22 rimfire charge, no bullet just a crimped case.

The results from 45 yards away- the pellet trap and duct seal fully contained any “frags”.

definately a good check on accuracy, hitting these off of the strip one by one, and it’s a “blast” pun intended

It’s pretty loud, it’s about as loud as a 44.75 30 cal pellet hitting 3/4 plywood going 955 FPS at 45 yards, but more of a snap sound to it.

with that sound comes a tint of spark/flash to add to the reactive features we all seek, lol.
