What a great week ... Another "Holy Grail" PCP acquisition

So did this version of the Leyla even come with a moderator stock? I have a Veles pistol, which the 1st gen Leyla is based off - same loading/cocking mechanism, and it didn't come with a reg. I added a Huma to smooth out the shot count mostly.

Great looking gun. Enjoy!

Ver:1 had a small circular LDC where the Ver: 2 had the factory OFFSET LDC. Scope rail on Ver: ended at forward barrel band around air tube .. Ver: 2 extends past it.

Actually I had meant to say if it came with a regulator stock.

Fingers going faster than brain.

Actually in saving air ... Retuned her to shoot 11.4 grain H&N FTT's at @ 820 fps. They shoot fantastic !!

saving my 13.7's for FT guns & 15.9's for hunting duty in the Airwolf .20 Really no need to lean on the power output even tho it can muster 25 fpe very easily.

I have a good supply of all jsbs and the crosmans. Will give the h&n's a shot.

The 20 Crosman Premiers are like GOLD. Extremely Rare to find at decent prices now.

i would only Use them for 80-100+ yard money shots only.

After a chat with Huub at HuMa Air in NL finding out the LELYA regulator conversion was just a fitted Universal with a spacer that just stacks on top of the plenum tube.

Dug out a universal body and machined it to fit air tube w/ o-rings. having no clue what set point pressure would be required started out at 85 bar, then 100 ending up at 110 bar where the JSB 13.7 were just a tad over 800 and FTT @ 840 maxed out, then backed off the HST so the FTT 11.4's settled in @ 820 and we're perfect !!

No lie the HuMa in there buys you a bunch of HP storage volume as they claim. Cost of the Reg and a few hours time is all this upgrade cost. I Can live with that.

Great guns I have 2, my first one eventually the hammer broke and Edgun doesn't make parts for this model anymore. I found another one so I could have one to shoot and one for parts. Also eventually both of the little ball bearings that keep the slide shut popped out and were lost. Edgun wouldn't fix that either. Treat it tenderly, if anything breaks you better know a good fabricator.

Local wheel and bearing shop for the ball bearings you need...

This is the other justifiable reason to own multiples of the same guns too IMHO...
