I bought a.22 mordax for pesting around my property. I'm using an ATN thor 5 thermal scope, which has worked out very well.

Realistically, I get 1 and a half mags per fill. So the extra capacity is huge. I've seen complaints on power with the mordax - i certainly don't hunt with slugs, maybe this upgrade would change that

Mine is in .30, I've left it at the factory settings, I'm getting around 35 fpe and 2 magazines of 12 rounds each per fill in the original standard configuration.

I just spoke to a gentleman at the Pellet Shop (where I got my Mordax), he said they'll be getting in Mordax Venom Booster kits in mid-august. They haven't gotten a price yet on these. I'm guessing they'll be $600-$800 since the 14" barrel and 180cc bottle upgrade is $459.

I wonder what the cost for a shop to install it would be?

Install looks pretty simple based on the video linked above. Biggest hassle is the need to totally degas, which in the end is no real biggie after all.

Change-over also seems bullet-proof as well. Seal is made by a quarter turn of the components, and the hex bolts just hold that assembly's orientation in the correct position (so the correct torquing of the bolts is not necessary to get a proper seal). To me it seems like it would not be an issue to go back-and-forth with gun configurations based on your need for that particular shooting session. Seems really intelligently designed.
