So did you buy one? Seems like it'd be dangerous to go to an auction for me, and would be torture to go without some spending money. I have passed up some great deals myself due to lack of funds, but what I already have is amazing anyway! Here's my latest-CZ s200 in Scout stock:

No, I was second bidder on the RWS but I'd bought a really nice Marlin 39A earlier. The HW80 struck me as heavier than I'd like for shooting cat food cans in the yard.

Well, now I'd say your money was well spent! Back in 2010 when I decided to get a good springer for hunting I looked hard at the HW97, TX200, R9 and R1. After studying the weights of each I finally settled on the R9, my only regret was not getting one sooner! If you can find a used HW30 or R7, that would be my choice for the ideal backyard plinker!
