weihrauch ldcs or barrle weight

It's just a muzzle break/cocking aid and no, there are no baffles in it so it's not an LDC. I have the Beeman R9 version and as far as being threaded under it, unless they've changed something, that hand grip is glued on there and not meant to come off.
I'm sure there are a few who have, can tell you what's under there, plus tell you how to get it off if you want to put the Weihrauch branded LDC on it though.

My HW95 moderator. The threaded section is 3/4" long with 15 threads, (1/2D x 20 threads per inch). Female threads start after the bevel. Moderator weighs 4.32oz.

Thank you guys for the replys in pict that's what i think i got on the gun is it just a hand grab or weight does it have any slilencing affect i like to get one of these like in pict

I did say "unless they changed something"...lol. Used to be they were glued on. If you saw my R9 side by side with the Field Pro, you'd probably think they were the same gun and they are...until you see the badging on them to say one's a Beeman, one's a Weihrauch and the muzzle break on my Beeman is glued on. Picture of my R9 is below.
There were a couple years where Beeman rifles had no open sights and the guns were scope only. When they went back to putting open sights on them, Weihrauch ran with the idea and came out with their "HW95 Field Pro" which included a scope and rings.

Bought gently used from another member a couple years ago because it's a .20 caliber and I'm one of the weirdos who happens to like .20 caliber rifles...lol. I also have an HW95 .22 I bought now 6 years ago when AoA was selling the standard no frills version for $299.99. It's been dressed up a bit since, but also a sweet rifle

AOA sells Weihrauch moderators so before purchasing one, see what comes with the rifle. If it’s not a muzzle break, it’s likely not empty. Weihrauch moderators are quite good.

Apologies for the dumb question but you went from ordering from AoA to buying a rifle from another member so did the member you bought it from assure you that the muzzle break on the gun you bought from him is going to unscrew??

well to be honest i bought both guns 177 r9 from member on here and also ordered a new hw30 from aoa i dont know if the muzzel weight is guled on to barrle or threaded i probile cut barrle down to 11 inchs round about then put a ldc on it

I don't know about the r9. My HW95 Field Pro has a threaded, user-removable muzzle grip/weight. It's not glued on.

i think nother guy on here mesured his 95 barrle was threaded 1/2 20 was like total length 11 3/8 then ldc screws on i think the versions that are not threaded are 16inch full barles i have my r9 soon i see if it threaded or not

Rifle/scope weigh:
7.5 lbs = 120 oz Weihrauch HW95L rifle
4.4 oz = Hawke Tactical 30 mm medium 2 piece rings
21.9 oz = Hawke 4-16 x 44 mm SF, IR, compact scope
Total = 146.3 oz which is 9 lbs 2.3 oz
LOP = 14.25” trigger to center butt. WIN M70 30-06 = 13.875", CVA Accura V2 50 BP = 14.5"
My HW95L, (2018 built per S/N), measures 12 & .1875" (3/16”) from breech block to the end of the barrel threads with moderator/silencer removed. The threaded section of the barrel is .75”(3/4”) long& .50” (1/2”) diameter with 20 threads per inch. Piston seal = 26 mm, 1.02362205”, stroke = 85 mm, 3.35”.
Moderator weighs 4.32 oz, 122.6 g, 1892 gr.
The Hawke tactical medium rings put the center line of the scope 1.5” above the .22 caliber bore.
Barrel length = 15.75” from end of moderator to end of breech block.
Rifle twist rate is 16:1.
Moderator is 6” long. Female threads start 2.25” in from beveled end of Moderator. Rifle length = 41.875” from end of moderator to butt center.
