Here's an update after the Vortek kit. Simple video, I kept this one short and sweet, as I got some flak for making the TX200 one too long.
Conclusion: Every airgunner should have one of these or an R7 in .177. Even for folks who prefer PCPs in general, this one is just so easy-going, with no support gear needed, and enough power for pest bird control at short-medium range. Enough power for plinking out to 50m, if you're a good enough shot. Enough accuracy for serious target shooting at close range. Enough power for hours of fun in the basement range, and low enough cocking effort to involve the whole family.
I think if I could only have two airguns, this would be one, and the 12 FPE TX200 would be the other.
I found out that it is enough power for squirrel pesting at 10-15 yards, but it requires perfect shot placement. (a few more FPE are recommended)
