Got this one last night with the HW110 .22 with JSB 18.13 @830ish fps from 49 yards.Gave him two to the head,first one dropped him,second one stopped the flopping.

Here in Louisiana, we call that a mouse! We grow them to 40 lbs. plus down here. Also have a $6.00 bounty on 'em if you turn in the tail.Pretty good in a gumbo if you do it right. Those small ones make pretty good pets, but they like to eat everything in site. Table legs, carpet etc.Had one in college we caught while crawfishing. Go get his daddy!

Yeah I’ve seen videos of those big Louisiana ones.Ive seen one out by the pond when it was just starting to warm up a bit like late March early April it had to be 20-25 pounds.
I ran in to get my Sumatra .25 came back and haven’t seen that one since.The few I do catch are all about like that mouse right there.

Yeah I shot it about midnight last night and when I went to clean up this morning 6am it was mid 70s

Pretty warm for you guys at that time of day.Was in Bristol last summer { August } at the Small Bore Nationals and it was in the 50's a couple of mornings.We really enjoyed that. Don't get that down here until November.Also enjoyed seeing all the Amish folks riding around in their buggies.
