Weihrauch 77 full power. Actual muzzle energy?

Hi

My question is about the unrestricted version sold in the US, not the one limited to 12pfe.

Can you please tell me what is the actual muzzle velocity and energy of a new HW77 that has a 26mm piston, using .22 pellets weighing 13-15 grains? I saw the manufacturer's numbers, but it doesn't state the pellet weight.

Also I heard that there has been a power increase when they changed it from 25mm piston to 26mm one. How much power increase resulted from this?

Well, can't answer this yet, but I just ordered a -97, and one of the first things I'll be doing is chronographing it with H&N 14.66 FTT pellets. If you don't have an answer by that time...and I suspect you will...I'll report back. The HW97 is essentially the same power plant with no sights, as you probably know already.

14-15 ft lbs is pretty typical. there NOT a magnum.

 

[Centercut]

I get right about 16 FPE with mine, shooting H&N 14.66gr at 700 FPS. Stock gun.
