Weichrauch hw50s

I just received new rifle in 177 cal.I was wondering what kind of groups are you getting with hw50 at longer ranges about 40-50 yards?Which pellet works the best In yours and does the break in period really last 1000 or more shoots?

Quality look and feel so far. Will see how it shoots tomorrow.

Don't worry about 50 yards yet. With 11 ft lb of energy, wind is going to be a bigger issue than the guns mechanical accuracy.

I got the .22,it is very accurate and has a great trigger,butt it is rough,...500 pellets and still rough...I am going to sit it aside for now;when I get back to it I will install a "tuner kit",I will go for less power and smoother action....I can this rifle has great potential .

I think at first use heavier pellets and yes this rifle needs a lot of break in time...will mine sure does.

Love my 50!! Since this pic I've upgraded to a Burris 8x mini scope. Looks way better. This .22 shoots lights out at 50 yds. It has a Vortek kit upgrade as well.

I’m really liking my HW50. It is wearing a JM stock along with an Archer Airguns blued steel brake. Someone here or on the yellow posted a pic of their 50 and it had a carbon fiber sleeve on the barrel. I liked it so I copied. 

Mine has a JM kit and seal and it shoots great. Snappy but no thawing. It reminds me of a gas piston gun. It shooting in the 11 ftlbs range I believe. 

It’s becoming one of my favorites bc of its light weight. Cocking force is even lighter now with the brake. It added about an inch and a half in total length and it is heavier compared to the aluminum JM brake I had on before. 

Mine is in .177 and it likes HN FTS and jsbs. I haven’t shot her further than 25 yards and it shoots. 

Great little gun overall.

Btw....yet another example of the craftsmanship of JM! Beautiful stock on your 50!! I can't believe that he can sell them complete at the price point he's at. I actually have 2 other stocks for the 50 from him.

I also think I'm going to be calling Archer and copycat you! Lol

These groups are at 15 yards with hn fts I believe. I was shooting off hand sitting down zeroing the gun with a new scope. That’s the only pic I could find in my phone. It groups the same at 25 yards. The gun is accurate. I don’t know about me. My eyes are not getting better and I drink too much coffee .
