week in review FX Leopard standard tube .25

Only owning the Leopard for a week now this is what I like and things FX could do to improve on all their rifles. OK the gun is accurate as all other FX rifles I've owned, the air over barrel is a ridged platform like the DRS. I like the arca rail on the standard version I own as it has Mlok for about anything you might want to add, lights, lasers ETC. I added a small picatinny so I could attach my Atlas Bipod (so far). I also like it has a barricade stop to push the gun against. A couple of things I think FX could do is design an adjustable cheek riser and an adjustable but stock for length of pull ETC, something better than just the up and down butt plate.

The aftermarket handles the adjustable butt. I'm sure saber will have one if the rifle shows to be popular.

I think FX has a symbiotic relationship with sabertactical ? Wait maybe it’s a parasitic one…lol. Think about it…saber makes a bunch of money off FX (I know moderators too) however a lot from FX. Then down the road they use the capital to make the biggest threat to FX ( red panda) in competition bench rest. I love it. Yeah maybe FX should start doing these things themselves.

How would it work for a lefty with that mag sticking out?
good question. I held it up lefty and figured it's doable but not really meant to be. The cheek rest isn't reversable, and you would need to mount the scope to the rear of the picatinny rail making the LOP short. EDIT: I tried it again as its not natural for me to hold a rifle that way and my conclusion is if you made a custom cheek rest it may be doable. I noticed how much further to the rear my right shoulder is naturally when holding the gun in my normal/natural shooting position then adjusted the left shoulder to match and the mag just touched my cheek.

Ok that's what I needed to know. I will have to pass then. Thanks
