If I didn't already have a very nice walnut Tommy. I might consider 500 but I'm not overly impressed with the beech stock. It exhibits a lot of typical beech flecks and crescent shaped medulary rays which is a turn off for me. Reminds me of the current HW stocks I've seen lately that to me have all the beauty of a checkered baseball bat. .
However, The condition IS excellent. That means a lot. I think I'd pass on it but somebody who really wants one might not resist. Definitely a gun worth having. I don't think the scope adds anything but the can should be worth perhaps another $50.at least.
Given the condition and scarcity start at $600 see where it goes.
I would like to have a walnut Longbow and have passed on a few beech versions. Holding out for the walnut here
