Shoots fine, haven't touched HS or Reg adjustment. (just to get that out of the way)
There is a rubber ball protruding from the air tube a few inches in front of the action (just a bit behind the rear barrel/tube clamp). I was told today that this is the equivalent of a pressure release valve in case the tube was over filled.
1 seems like a bad way to do this, the rubber ball is going to go bad at some point regardless of fill pressure
2 it protrudes far enough from the tube that I cant even begin to imaging removing the tube from the gun without prying the tube/barrel mounts apart. there isn't enough room to unscrew the tube from the barrel and use the gap at the bottom of the clamp as a pass though for the ball.
3 I've read other stories about that ball/plug simply being a plug for a hole that got drill in many WC tubes that was just in the wrong place (use of salvageable parts). I cant find that post now. Honestly, not even sure what forum I saw it on.
Am I worrying too much about this? Seems that it would absolutely require a trip to FX USA if the plug ever failed but beyond that, since it doesn't seem like there is enough clearance, I don't think I'd even be able to easily replace the reg (assuming Huma makes one that would be a direct fit with the eternal adjustment, I haven't looked)
Been a long day, maybe (maybe) I'm just being cranky.
