Just completed an order from Huma-air, and while
I’m still excited for the upgrades I have planned, I was disappointed that today I received an email from UPS saying I owed 50% the cost of the order for delivery. Huma charged me a large shipping fee already but did not mention anything about the fact that this wouldn’t be the only charge.
Typically shippers know this beforehand, and I have seen other retailers warn their customers about this. I was very disappointed Huma didn’t give me that respect.
How do you all feel about manufacturers ignoring/hiding/passing their fees to the customer? I would have felt much better about the process had they raised their prices 50% and not left me with surprise fees.
