So at the end the 100 yd group looked quite good, even though the shorter form represents some challenge shooting from bags. Do you think that the long version would give you even better results?

Also wonder how this gun measures up against the Ukrainian competition (e.g., Taipain Veteran), and FX Wildcat, Dream-Tac, basically higher end bullpups designed for small game hunting.

I know they tested FX's new hybrid slugs with the Veteran and I imagine that they work very well in the FX guns, but I wonder how they would perform in the R5M for example. Now, those slugs are only available in .22 and you tested a .25 cal here, but I guess in the future when those and other manufacturer's hybrid slugs will be widely available your testing duties will expand and perhaps involve maybe a couple of those hunting slugs.

Agreed! I'm accumulating slugs now from H&N, JSB, FX, and NSA and will incorporate them into all culling going forward. Steve

Labradar shows a final FPS data for 25 yards though the target says it is 50 yards down range. Check around 4:45 in the video.

UPDATE: Nevermind, Steve said in the YouTube comments it was a settings mistake.

I'll address it here too. I have memory of changing that to 50 (10-20-30-40-50) when I arrived at the pasture & setup but I guess it didn't take AND I didn't notice (not even in editing). At home, I cull at 25 for the vlog and that's where the setting was from. I blew that. Sorry guys. First time for everything I suppose. 

Getting senile in my old age.

Discussion is always more interesting but it's my belief that these members are just showing their appreciation of the event and factory support at the ground level... two uncommon things in our industry.

If the OEM ain't feelin' the love from y'all, they won't participate again.

I hear you Steve and maybe I jumped the gun on that comment but I really want to hear what other people think, and not just a quick thank you for the giveaway or if people have questions, I would love to answer them, which I have on the few actual questions that were out there.

The Edgun Matador R5M Long .25 has been an excellent rifle for me, thank you for your contribute to this sport and to the vendors that supplied all the gear for this giveaway.
