I really like the lack of sound when its fired! No air noise of hammer ping! Fit and finish are excellent. The magnet in the clip is high on my list for a gun. I would love spending time shooting this!!!

I would love to own a regulated Daystate air rifle. Really like the new slender look of the Huntsman. I Always wanted a high quality air rifle from England. I used to have a Beeman R7 barrel break rifle that was made in Germany. It was a very accurate light weight rifle with good looking wooded stock in .177 But I never liked the fact you had to put a pellet in one at a time. Daystate hits the mark with the Huntsmans looks and options with this rifle for me. Now that air rifles are pre charged & have magazine is even better then ever ! I've been shooting BB & pellet guns all my life, indoors & out.. I have never not own one or the other or even both to shot with. I still use them for plinking and pest control. Being a .22 caliber would be a step up from my old .177 R7.

Great review, thanks! The bolt seemed quite easy to cock. The .177 Regal XL that I've used had a very stiff bolt to cock. I wonder if they reduced the hammer spring tension because of the regulation, making it easier to cock??? That would be a VERY NICE bonus.

I know Daystate offers the Huntsman in a left hand model but I'm not sure about the giveaway. Better for Steve or Michael to answer this.

WOW !! I have been debating between two rifles Air Arms s510 .22 or the Huntsam in .22 LH stock?? ,now that it is regulated with a Huma regulator, this is making my decision a whole lot easier. :0)
