War flex tries out new fx pocket chrono.

Pulled my war flex .25 out to test my new fx chrono for the first time.I must say i love it ,just so dang simple. I did have about 20 or so that didnt get picked up by it but that was all me as i didnt have it set up properly. The app for it was very easy to understand and the bluetooth hooked right up to my phone without any issues.I did top off for air when it did a 837fps shot.I generally get 70 to 80 shots from a full 4500psi fill but today i didnt start full and somewhere along the line it was fill time.

At first i thought 200$ was way too much but after using it 200$ is a fine fine deal.

I have the muzzle mounted version. Works perfectly for air guns.

Yeah 100$ would be great but i doubt it will see that price for a long time if ever.

LOL! Yeah, I thought about a Caldwell, but when I saw the "muzzle velocity meter" and several people on GTA recommended it (back then it was about $30) I went ahead and got one. Never have regretted NOT buying a "standard" chronograph for air gun usage and never really needed one for PBs.

The only caveat about the one I have is that it only measures in meters per second and the muzzle mount version does not display 10ths, just 3 digits. However, this is not really a problem for tuning air guns. The stand alone (non muzzle mounted version) does display 10ths of a meter, but it is also much harder to use, especially without shooting it... imho.

I want to pick one up on a good deal eventually. I am still using my original ProChrono Digital for tuning that I purchased roughly five years ago. The Prochrono does take a bit of setup time with tripod and angle, always a yardstick away from the muzzles for consistency. I really like the features that it offers.
