Well my .30 cal flex is all finished up, I just put the finishing touch on her with the new scope. Put a hawke frontier with tmx reticle which is by far my most favorite scope now. I did have a hawke sidewinder on it with 20x mil dot reticle which is a great one too but the frontier is a beaut. So I purchased this Flex when WAR put there first batch of 10 rifles out, mine is #9. I fell in love with it right off the bat, then WAR made some leaps with there R&D and came out with the cobra parts. So I put the cobra external regulator, cobra valve and mds hammer. Then I bought the 20" barrel because the early gen ones came with a 17". After I put the cobra package and barrel on I decided to get the 500cc bottle that can be filled to 4300 psi. The original bottle was a 480cc that filled to 3600psi. So with all these upgrades the rifle became more flexible and can make some serious power if one wishes too. I decided to tune my Flex to shoot the 50grain kings at 950fps making 100fpe that is a regulated beast! One might say why would you do that when you could get around 80fpe with more shots. Because the 80fpe mark is the industry standard for the .30cal it seems like. I personally just wanted the 100fpe for it isn't common and is on the top end of the scale for the .30cal pellet shooters on the market. The daystate wolverine is the same power level but isn't regulated. So it's just cool to have a air rifle that is in its own league. As for cosemetics I have put a XLR industries stock, stainless steel screws for the stock and the side covers and a atlas bi pod. Also as you can see from the pictures I have a distinct muzzle brake on it! I had this made in 2011 to put on a different air rifle which I never put to light. So once I got the flex and fell in love with it I decided this was what I wanted to put it on. So I tig welded it onto the original cap of the moderator that way it could be taken on and off as if it were made for the rifle. It does not have any affect on accuracy and is mostly just for looks. And yes it is a close resemblance to the barret .50cal, but this one is made out of aluminum and much much smaller. Anyways just want to share this with everyone and I hope you all enjoy my Unique .30cal beast!
75 yard grouping is very good, no problem being under an inch as long as I do my part. I like the XLR stock it has a positive feel and is sturdy. Have a slightly different XLR stock on my .308 flex which is a bit lighter.
Man that Soo sweet!! A War warp is currently my dream gun and once I can keep life from getting in the way I'll have me one.(crossing fingers for this year) Again sweet man.
